THE Westpac police rescue helicopter has been sent to the scene of a multiple vehicle crash on the Midland Highway at Antill Ponds, just north of St Peters Pass, to airlift injured patients to hospital.
A car towing a trailer is involved in the crash and police are warning motorists to expect delays.
They are trying to arrange a detour through a local farmer's property.
Police say the crash was reported at 6.50pm.
They are yet to release any details on the number of vehicles involved or injuries to the occupants.
